Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using MakerHub.

By accessing or using the MakerHub website or app, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Who we are
MakerHub is a digital companion for makers, creators, and nomads. It offers tools, prompts, and spaces such as Playground, Digital Detox, and Idea Vault.“MakerHub”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to:

2. Scope of these Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of:
• the MakerHub web and mobile app (including the Glide-based app)
• the MakerHub website and related landing pages
• any content, features, or services offered through themAdditional policies, such as the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, form part of these terms.

3. Eligibility and account access
To use MakerHub, you must:
• be legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your country of residence
• use the service only for lawful purposes

You access MakerHub by using your email address and a PIN code sent by email. You are responsible for:
• keeping access to your email account secure
• not sharing login codes with others
• informing us if you suspect unauthorised access

4. Lifetime access and payments
MakerHub currently offers access based on a one-time payment model.
• You pay a one-time fee of CHF 39 for lifetime access linked to your account (your email address).
• There are no recurring subscription fees unless we clearly introduce such options in the future.“Lifetime access” refers to the lifetime of the service, not the lifetime of any individual user. We aim to provide long-term, stable access, but we may change, limit, or discontinue parts of the service for technical, legal, or business reasons.Payment is processed by third-party payment providers. By completing a payment, you agree to their terms as well as ours. We do not store full card details on our own systems.

5. Use of the service
You agree to use MakerHub in a reasonable way and not to:
• break any applicable laws or regulations
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data
• interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the service
• copy, resell, or exploit the service for unauthorised commercial use
• upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes the rights of othersWe may take appropriate action, including restricting or closing access to your account, if we believe the service is being misused or our terms are being violated.

6. Content and user input
MakerHub allows you to create, store, and manage your own content, including ideas, notes, and reflections.You keep ownership of the content you create. By storing content in MakerHub, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive right to process that content only as needed to operate the service (for example, to store it, display it to you, back it up, and improve internal features such as search or structure).You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate:
• applicable laws or regulations
• intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties

7. Features and changes to the service
MakerHub includes features such as:
• Playground with stacks and Nomad Mode
• Digital Detox suggestions and exercises
• Idea Vault for capturing and organising ideasWe may add, change, or remove features over time. We may also update the interface, technology, or structure of the service. Where changes are significant, we aim to communicate them in a reasonable way, for example through the app or by email.

8. No professional advice
MakerHub is a digital tool for organisation, reflection, light learning, and wellbeing support in everyday life. It does not provide:
• medical or psychological advice or treatment
• financial, legal, or other professional adviceAny content or suggestions in the app are for general information and personal use only. They are not a substitute for professional guidance. If you have health or other serious concerns, you should contact a qualified professional.

9. Intellectual property
The MakerHub service, including its design, logo, branding, text, graphics, and underlying software, is owned by MakerHub or used under licence.You may not:
• copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the service or its content, except where the app clearly allows it
• remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other ownership noticesNothing in these terms grants you ownership in the service or its underlying technology.

10. Third-party services
MakerHub may integrate or interact with third-party services, such as:
• hosting and infrastructure providers
• app platforms (including Glide)
• payment providers
• analytics or communication toolsThese services have their own terms and privacy practices, which you may be required to accept separately. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control.

11. Availability and maintenance
We aim to keep MakerHub available and running smoothly. However, we cannot guarantee:
• uninterrupted or error-free operation
• that the service will always be available in your location or on your device
• that all content will be preserved without lossWe may need to temporarily suspend or limit access for maintenance, updates, or other reasons. Where possible, we will try to keep interruptions short and reasonable.

12. Disclaimer of warranties
MakerHub is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.To the fullest extent permitted by law:
• we do not give any warranties or guarantees, express or implied, about the service
• we do not guarantee any particular results, outcomes, productivity improvements, or wellbeing effects from using the appYou use MakerHub at your own discretion and risk.

13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, MakerHub and its owners, directors, employees, and partners are not liable for:
• indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• any loss or damage arising from your use of or inability to use the serviceWhere liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount you have actually paid for the service (for example, the one-time fee for lifetime access).Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

14. Refunds
Refunds, if offered, are handled in line with our current payment and refund rules, as described in the Subscription and Payment Policy or on our pricing page.To request information about a possible refund, you can contact support at support@makerhub.app. Each case will be reviewed in line with our current rules and applicable law.

15. Termination
You may stop using MakerHub at any time. You can also request deletion of your account as described in our Privacy Policy.We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if:
• you seriously or repeatedly violate these terms
• we are required to do so by law or by a competent authority
• we decide to discontinue the service for business or technical reasonsWhere reasonable, we will provide notice before a planned discontinuation.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of [Country, for example: Switzerland], without regard to conflict of law rules.Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of MakerHub will be subject to the exclusive or non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [City, Country], unless applicable law requires a different court.
